Keti Benashvili serves as an Associate at our law firm. She is specialized in Corporate and Commercial Law, Banking, and Finance and her practice areas include Mergers and Acquisitions, Capital Markets and Commercial Arbitration as well. 

Keti has successfully passed the Bar Exam in Civil and Administrative Law and is a certified attorney in these fields.

Prior to joining the firm, Keti was employed in the position of Legal Analyst at an international FinTech company (Hamburg, Germany), where her work experience mainly concerned contract drafting in Banking Law and legal research pertaining to the EU legal framework for banking activities. Her professional experience also includes serving as an Associate at a reputable Georgian law firm, where she participated in various complex transactions and disputes involving large commercial enterprises and was mainly responsible for legal drafting in corporate, banking, and commercial law. Additionally, Keti has significant experience in consulting in the field of Dispute Resolution and Arbitration.

Keti holds an LL.M. Degree in Law and Business from Bucerius Law School, Hamburg, Germany, and an LL.B. Degree with honors from Tbilisi State University, Tbilisi, Georgia. 

Keti is a recipient of an international scholarship provided by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and she has successfully completed her studies in Legal German at the University of Münster (Münster, Germany). Furthermore, Keti is a winner of the National Moot Court Competition in Business Law held at Free University of Tbilisi and a recipient of the Governmental Scholarship for Academic Excellence in the years 2014-2016.

Apart from her extensive legal practice, Keti has been actively involved in academic activities. She has participated in numerous conferences, training, and teaching courses and has published several academic articles in national law journals as well.

With native Georgian, Keti is fluent in English and German and has a fair command of the Russian language as well.
