Elene Mebonia serves as a Associate at our law firm.
Prior to joining the firm Elene worked at the Supreme Court of Georgia at the Court Practice Research and Generalization Department. Her main duties at the Supreme Court included analysis of the Court’s orders and judgments on administrative cases and drafting respective sections of the written publication by the Court on generalization of the judicial practice. Previously Elene was employed, on a community basis, at the Legal Issues Committee of the Parliament of Georgia as a member of a team of analysts working on the draft laws.
Elene is a graduate of the Department of Legal Studies of Tbilisi State University. During her law school years Elene has actively participated in a number of national and international moot court competitions covering diverse areas of national and international law. In 2013 Elene was awarded a certificate for being one of the best individual oralists at the international rounds of Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition held in Washington DC.
With the native Georgian, Elene is fluent in written and spoken English and has intermediate knowledge of Russian language.
